Essen Petroleum Opens up to the Arctic Frontier
Essen Petroleum has commenced drilling of its fourth Arctic location with the completition of its fourth Arctic drilling platform from East Essen Military Shipyards. Drilling in the Arctic has been proven very successful and profitable for East Essenland which relies greatly on the oil to maintain its massive military might. All four drilling wells are regularly patrolled by an specialized Arctic destroyer to keep all forgeiners away, most notably the country of Norden since drilling commences near their territorial waters. East Essenland still maintains its right to drill in the Arctic after not being a member of the League of Nations, so its universal rules does not apply toward East Essenland. The fifth and sixth drilling rig is currently under production at the same shipyard and is being expected to be completed within six months, increasing East Essenland oil might.
With drilling starting to commence, the seventh and eighth Arctic oil tanker ship has finished production and is expected to enter operation within six months allowing the driling rig to drill and stockpile oil until the arrival of the oil tankers. East Essenland prides itself on innovation and is the only nation to drill deeply in the Arctic year round because of these oil tankers. Tankers are designed to be submersed under the ice with the bridge being the only object above water, allowing minimum contact with the ice to break through the ice and to carve a path toward the drilling rig and harvest the oil. Typical tankers cannot go deeply in the Arctic as East Essenland can because they do not have ice breaking capabilities. This capability gives East Essenland unpredentented access and choice of drilling location in the Arctic and is undisputeably the only oil company in the deep Arctic.

This will certainly cause new tensions between our countries, as Norden claims the entire north pole.

New? :-P I'm thinking our two countries are always at dispute. Also, you claiming the entire north pole will certainly put other countries in dispute with you as well since that is a lot of land/sea for you to have. But East Essenland will keep on drilling in the Arctic :-P
